Virgin Galactic announces 5th commercial spaceflight with private astronaut and planetary scientist

Virgin Galactic has announced the date and crew for its 5th commercial spaceflight, Galactic 06. The flight is scheduled to take place on November 2nd, 2023 and will carry two passengers: an unnamed private astronaut of Franco-Italian nationality and planetary scientist Alan Stern. The flight will reach an altitude of about 54 miles (87 kilometers) above Earth, allowing the passengers to experience weightlessness and see the blackness of space. 
This will be Virgin Galactic's sixth spaceflight in as many months and continues the company's push to make space tourism a reality.
